Every season after the fashion weeks I really enjoy scouring street style photograph collections – and Fashionologie is my go-to website for these snaps. I prefer to go through street style photographs for inspiration rather than the catwalks… It’s a great way to gather ideas on putting outfits together and adding in accessories.
Here are my favourite photographs from the latest Fashion Weeks for SS13…
……….
I just can’t resist an all black outfit with a little leather. (Pssst for those on a budget check out a similar version of the green and black top as a dress here).
Emmanuelle Alt – my style icon. She can do no wrong. Keeping it stylishly casual in a shirt and leather front pleat trousers.
I’ve wanted a pair of shoes like these below for a long time now, I wanted the caped Wangs but unfortunately they are no longer available…
The beautiful Miroslava Duma – looking a vision in an all white ensemble. I like the oversized cut.
Simply stunning, and matching so well. I wonder if they discussed this outfit choice prior to meeting.
The simple addition of the scarf adds so much… I love the combination of textures here.
I’ll always have a soft spot for flares. It stems from my longing to live in the 70′s, which will never happen. Someone please invent time travel.
I love the splash of colour in the coat added to this cream outfit. And these strappy black sandals are perfect.
Leather pleats and a patterned tucked-in jumper. A little prim, a little proper but very cool.
I really like the latte colour palette and the patterned straps of the rucksack add a little effortless cool to heels.
Taylor Tomsasi Hill. I want her hair. And this top and boots ensemble.
Wow, head to toe colour in pillar-box red is certainly a statement, and certainly a good one in this case.
A beautiful example of layering and draping. The baby blue belt is a surprise detail but it works so well.
A full skirt can be so flattering and this is a perfect example. I love the berry accents.
These shoes do all the talking. I’m going to try stonewash jeans with a pale pink tee, teamed with bright red shoes.
Emmanuelle Alt again – skinny’s, studs and a blazer. A lady after my own heart.
I love an oversized coat, and when worn with loafers creates an androgynous look.
THIS is how to do head to toe print.
And Miroslava Duma again… a vision in lemon yellow and her trademark statement necklace.
Here this lady toughens up a beautiful dusky pink maxi with a leather jacket…
